The Art of Integration of Life

Life begins in Wholeness and in the experience of the Now. Quickly as we enter the earth reality that begins to change and a process of gradual adjustment takes place. We begin to develop a sense of “I” and start separating into many parts that are not working together very well. For some perhaps better than for others but for most humans the end result is a life that is no longer connected to the source and lacks in the ability to experience the present moment as it truly is.

We dive further and further out into the surface of the mind and its ever changing landscape of the past and the future. As life moves ahead we become gradually separated from the purity of the Being that was first our only experience. We are being conditioned to reach out further and further for the answers and solutions when that is actually braking our self into ever smaller parts. This creates an experience of immense complexity of life with very little coherence. Perhaps this is the main reason why for many life is becoming harder to manage.

Luckily, although we might have put a lot of energy and time into spreading out into many directions, it does not take much to reverse this and begin to reintegrate and find the connection back to the source of our being. In fact, the Art of Integration of Life is what Ascension is all about. Ascension is a tool to bring the sundered parts back into cohesion and wholeness. By Ascending we redirect our awareness inward and in that inward direction the nervous system and our consciousness naturally and inevitably will come back to reflect the Ascendant more and more perfectly. In the Ascendant One life becomes one with its source and is fully integrated into Reality. There are no longer parts trying to deal with each other, but there is One living through many forms.

To integrate the inner self is much easier than is commonly believed. There is no order of difficulty in the process itself. Ascension works like magic if we put our time and attention into it. The only difficulty arises if we hold onto our attachments in the world of many separate parts. To become fully integrated takes the choice and commitment to move toward That, which is the Source and the Goal of all life. Being in That and living from That is a life fully integrated.

The Vision of the Source
The physical, human mind – a structure of the earth – needs a modern vision of its highest purpose. With all the fragmentation in today’s world it is imperative to have a clean, undistorted vision of the Source. To uplift the human thought to its true, glorified Reality is, in part, an annihilation of any understanding of the human as weak, sinful, decayed or limited.

The path to communication with the higher Self must be revitalized from the root. This path is not created from Idealism – it is created out of blood and guts of human life experience. This explains why the ancient myths were often violent. But it is not necessary to focus long on the problem, on the decay – there has been enough of that already. What is necessary is to acknowledge the reality of the negativity, then focus on re-creation. The period of acknowledgment can be brief compared with the time devoted to reconstruction.

The human being is a divine machine that needs to be re-centered. This does not happen through a process of “shoulds” and “should nots”; it happens from the introduction of new experience of the One. In terms of visionary experience, re-centering occurs through identifying the different internal characters, discarding those that do not serve the growth process, strengthening those who do, destroying that which is useless, creating that which is useless.

We are filled with myriad sub-personalities: to understand and integrate all our internal characters, it is necessary to have a comprehensive vision of the highest nature of the God-Self. The path to perfection, then, is to recognize the perfect parts of our inner being. We are all filled with misplaced and misunderstood gods and goddesses. We need to reconstitute the rainbow bridge from the Cosmic Mind of the Divine to the minds of the human.

Regularity is the key to success in Ascension. Giving your time and attention to it like you would give it to anything that really matters. Like you would give it to a friend that you value and love. It is after all your Self that you are connecting and communicating with. It is the source and back bone of your life.

Each person finds their commitment to growth differently, but discipline in the form of regularity is what manifests results in the fastest and in the most graceful ways.

The Thunder Series
The Thunder series describes the opening of the consciousness of the human race to ever deeper and subtler experiences of enlightenment. There exists a collective consciousness of humanity that underlies and permeates all of our beliefs and experiences.

This collective identity is responsible for most of our world-views and individual experiences of reality. To change this collective belief system is typically quite slow, as it takes a continual effort on the part of many over a long period of time.

In this (the Second Thunder) and the subsequent books, the collective consciousness of humanity is personified and individualized as Lord Gana, a semi-divine prince who lived far before recorded history. Since Gana is the representative of all humanity, his struggles to
master his own beliefs and judgments have the effect of transforming everyone else. At times aware of his universal status, at times ignorant of it, Gana moves through various life-experiences in the attempt to master the lower aspects of his nature and rise to complete consciousness. This continues with ever-greater complexity as his understanding of the connection of the individual to the Universe unfolds.

----------------------

The omnipotent Power of the upward current of the Laws of Nature is also always present to support Gana; but he is not often aware of this. This force is personified as his feminine aspect, Almira. Almira is the second half of Gana’s soul, ever conscious; she is the Goddess, always in divine communion with the One’; she is the Earth Mother, the Source of all Good for humanity, the personified Holy Spirit.

Gana is also ever watched, protected and guided by the incarnate wisdom of higher consciousness, portrayed in the Thunder books as his seven Teachers Vasuki, mordom, Rodavi, Who was later reborn as Joab, Vaga, Atri, Brihas, and Matri. Their relationship to Gana is one of gentle guidance and discipline.

All the other characters in this history are either manifestations of partial aspects of Gana’s infinite mind or else his creations. Some of these creations are positive and represent the creative forces of nature: his children and peoples he attempts to save from destruction and guide to higher levels of understanding. And some of these creations are negative, the destructive forces of nature personified and given form by Gana’s incomplete understanding of life: the Emperor Valin and Valin’s agents and minions, the aAsurs and Rakshasas. In both cases, although having independent form and life, all his creations remain rooted in Gana’s mind.

Integrating Ascension into Your life
To integrate means to unite, to become one with, whole. All of humanity, each and every one of us, yearn for union with the Divine Self. It is the misunderstanding of that yearning that drives us to seek happiness and satisfaction outside of ourselves. Most of us now realize that simply does not work. It never has and it never will. It is a futile treadmill taking us to continuously wanting more, and then when getting it still not being content, other than for a short time. Always something else, the next great book, the perfect vacation, the ideal mate, financial security, etc., ad infinitum. There is no end to it outside of your Self. There is no place to go, and there is no magic wand. The irony of it all is that It is already present within you. All that you have been looking for is here now. You will not get it some time in the future. Just look around you right now and realize there is only this moment. So, then, how will you use this moment, and this moment, and this moment? You who have learned Ascension have a tool, a technique, a prayer that you can choose to use in this moment that will automatically take you to that which you have yearned for. Simply do it. And do it again, and again, and now again. Commit to making it a habit.

Is developing a new habit enough, however, to reap the full benefits of Ascension, which is permanently expanding the mind and permanently freeing the body from stress? To begin anything takes intent, the desire to do something. Combine that with “passion” and there is no holding back. We go for it with all of our heart and mind and body and soul. Ascending for some limited gain is OK, but why not go for the Ultimate? Why not realize the fulfillment of who we are right here now in this lifetime? Full human potential and self-realization are not for some chosen few, but for all who desire it and then passionately go for it. Practice the Art of Ascension, use the Attitudes eyes-open and eyes-closed, read scriptures and sacred writings (See Books by MSI and other Recommended Books on the Bookstore tab under Media Lounge on theishayafoundation.org website), seek the companionship of others like you, ask guidance of those who have gone before you. As you move forward integrating the Art of Ascension, limitations, separation, conflict and disharmony fall away. The habit of regular Ascending then becomes a way of life. A life based on Praise, Gratitude, Love and Compassion. Endless opportunities and bountiful creations await you as you allow the Ascendant energy life to flow through you. No longer without, you become One with.

Yoga

Yoga is the basis of an integrated life, a means of bringing into harmony the inner creative silence and the outer activity of life, and a way to act with precision and success. Established in yoga, Arjuna will be established in the Ultimate Reality of life, which is the source of eternal wisdom, power and creativity.

Part of the training for one who wishes to become a good swimmer is the art of diving. When one is able to maintain one-self successfully in deep water, then swimming on the surface becomes easy. All action is the result of the play of the conscious mind. If the mind is strong, then action is also strong and successful. The conscious mind becomes powerful when the deeper levels of the ocean of mind are activated during the process of TM ( Ascension), which leads the attention from the surface of the conscious mind to the transcendental field of Being. The process of diving within is the way to become established in yoga.

-------------------

Integration of life depends upon the mind passing in a cycle between the field of the Absolute and the field of activity. The mind goes to the unmanifest and comes back to the manifest, thus experiencing both fields of life, absolute and relative. This is the state of integrated man in cosmic consciousness.
